1/24 Social Movement conducts its activities through 4 wings.
There are more than 300 registered volunteers under these 4 departments, who work relentlessly with the 1/24 Social Movement to serve the country and its people. You can be one of us if you want. The organization may not give you much but at the end of the day, you can close your eyes in bed with complacence and peace of mind.
Benefits of volunteers:
- Opportunity to work under the direct supervision of the professor.
- Each member gets a t-shirt, and the executive members get ID cards and certificates (conditions applied).
- Active volunteers receive the opportunity to participate in different seminars, workshops and conferences.
- Every year three of the volunteers are given the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ award.
- Certificates are issued under special considerations.
Qualifications to be a volunteer :
- Must be interested in working for the country and its people.
- Must acknowledge and live upto the sacrifices in the great war of liberation.
- Must be loyal to the organization.
- No work responsibilities will be imposed beyond one’s compliance. But once committed to a task, it must be done wholeheartedly with maximum possible result.
- Must possess the mindset to work voluntarily and proactively.
- Volunteers from Chittagong have to be present in the office at the monthly meeting on the 2nd Saturday of every month. If for any reason, the volunteer is unable to attend the meeting, the coordinator must be informed beforehand.
- Volunteers are not duty-bound to attend the programmes of the organization but always welcome to do so.
- A volunteer must be very punctual. He/she must be present to the committed place in time whether that’s a meeting or any programme.
Terms and Conditions :
- You can’t engage yourself in treason, directly or indirectly. If caught in treason, the organization will not be responsible and you’ll immediately be expelled and debarred.
- Must stay away from politics.
- Must refrain from direct or indirect participation in activities that harm the environment.
- Mandatory subscription fee of BDT 50/- per month.
