For the first time in the city of Chittagong, World Animal Day had been observed yesterday.

‘1/24 Social Movement’ members celebrated this day by arranging an awareness rally and then removing harmful plastic wastes and dirt from the Patenga sea beach.

The founder of ‘1/24 Social Movement’ – Mr. Mohammad Shahab Uddin, Assistant Professor, Management Department, University of Chittagong was the chief guest and Mr. Azim, Investigating officer, Chittagong Metropolitan Police was the special guest.
